- Investigations Division - SIGTARP's Investigations Division investigates crimes related to TARP. SIGTARP Special Agents have the authority to search, seize, and arrest. SIGTARP's Investigations Division operates in five field offices in Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Atlanta.
- Audit Division – SIGTARP’s Audit Division plans and executes an audit and evaluations program that provides independent review of the TARP bailout and all tenant participants. SIGTARP's audits recommend fixes to Treasury to address fraud, waste and abuse vulnerabilities in TARP and bring to light areas of TARP that need improvement.
- Office of General Counsel – SIGTARP’s Office of General Counsel is responsible for providing legal services which enable SIGTARP to accomplish its mission.
- Operations – SIGTARP’s Operations provide technical support and programs for personnel, facilities, financial, information technology, and other administrative matters within SIGTARP.
