How Banks Spent TARP Funds

On February 5, 2009, SIGTARP sent survey letters to over 360 financial institutions; it included all institutions that had completed TARP funding agreements through January 2009. The intention of the survey was to gather information on how TARP funds were being used; the resulting audit report, “SIGTARP Survey Demonstrates That Banks Can Provide Meaningful Information on Their Use of TARP Funds,” was published on July 20, 2009.

Individual responses to the Use of TARP Funds Survey can be found below. They are listed alphabetically by respondent and by state according to where the respondent is headquartered. The surveys have been redacted in compliance with the law.

*Some financial institutions included copies of their SEC filings in their responses. Please note that these filings can be found at www.sec.gov and have not been included in the links below.
